Here are the projects I did in my Photoshop class. It was too much information in not enough time, but I think I have a basic understanding of photoshop.
We in Instructional Technology are using Gizmoz to introduce ourselves to new teachers when they arrive in late July. Mine is below; see Noreen’s blog for the others.

I’m taking a Photoshop class this week at Phoenix College. Here is my first project: Mr. Melonhead. I clearly have a long way to go.
Andy Carvin has a good entry on his learning.now blog (see link below)about an effort to educate teachers and principals about computer security in light of the Julie Amero case. Julie Amero was a substitute teacher in Connecticut who was convicted of exposing students to online porn when pornographic images popped up on the teacher’s computer in the classroom where she was subbing. The conviction was overturned when it was proven that the computer was infected with spyware, which was causing the naughty pictures to pop up.
